Good winter boot
Reviewed By Chris, 08 Feb 2015

I haven't used these boots, I own the previous blue boots but love them so much I felt I had to leave a review. They have served me well for 3 Scottish winter climbing seasons including ice trips to Cogne and Colorado, and a summer alpine trip. They have performed fantastically throughout. Although listed as a B2 boot they have the stiffness of a B3 in my opinion and are warm enough for most things in the alps in summer or Scotland in winter. My only criticism would be with the lack of a toe welt however when paired with a well fitting pair of crampons they are absolutely fine for steep ice. Having compared my older blue boots with these ones in the shop, the newer ones look just as good as mine and should prove just as reliable in my opinion. Overall, my favourite mountaineering boot I've owned

Great choice for Winter boots
Reviewed By Heather, 09 Feb 2012

These boots have an immediate good fit in-store and this has definitely carried over onto the hill. They feel light weight and solid. For a smaller, narrower foot shape these have been a great compared to other brands. No blisters and minimal movement. Full winter hill days, river crossings and constant west coast rain are no match, your feet will still be dry at the end of the day.
Highly recommend.
