Starlight II Sleeping Bag

Light, compressible and proven to perform, the Starlight II Sleeping Bag offers exceptional comfort, durability and value for money. Making use of a wide range of sleeping bag expertise and technical knowledge, Mountain Equipment maximise the warmth of their PolarLoft Micro filling to give a lightweight package that can be relied upon. The expedition fit of this bag ensures that you can wear extra insulating layers as well as having space for water bottles while the footbox and the hood of the sleeping bag are shaped anatomically to reduce compression of the insulating fibres and provide exceptional warmth and insulation control. The Solus collar provides optimum lightweight insulation with synthetic draft tubes around the neck and shoulders. The shingle construction maximises heat retention without cold spots and the zip is only 3/4length to reduce the chance of cold spots around the feet, while also keeping the weight down.

Xero 300 Regular Sleeping Bag

A 2 to 3 season down-filled cocoon, the Xero 300 is an uncompromising bag for those who reallly need to keep the weight and bulk to a minimum. To make an ultralight, high performance sleeping bag, you could do a lot worse than using exceptionally lightweight He30 fabric and 850 fill power Ukrainian goose down...but for the Xero 300, that's just the start. The premium ingredients have been combined using techniques which draw the greatest possible performance from them. Even the position of the seams which join the top to the bottom has been carefully considered: they're located low down so the exposed sides of the bag are filled with insulation. To create maximum space for the down and minimum opportunity for cold spots to form, the top lining uses Mountain equipment's EXL system, gently elasticated to pull it slose to the body without feeling restrictive. From the insulated footpiece to the anatomical hood, the body of the Xero 300 Sleeping Bag uses slanted box-wall baffles to house the down. This means every inch of you is surrounded by a layer of insulation...and in the only place you might find a gap, a down insulated collar is there to fill it!
