They seem sturdily built and in a style I would expect to like.
After a several weeks of trying very hard to get these boot to fit comfortably (including purchasing specific socks) they are still very awkward and uncomfortable.

Bought them. Put'em on. Walked 11 miles in mud & rain. Comfortable and, importantly, dry feet.
The ankle sides are just a little bit too high and needed a bit of bending outwards. By second wearing (in more mud) they were OK
