Brilliant boots and by far the best boots I have ever owned. I have climbed over 15 munros in these so far and they haven't let me down. Very comfortable, waterproof and durable. I'm fairly confident they will get me up and down Kilimanjaro with no issues.
My only negative is after a few wears the inside sole started to move during my descents but nothing I couldn't fix.

Good quality for the price. Solid grip on the sole. Didn't slip once! Kept my feet dry.
Quite heavy.

Having recently joined a walking club, these were my first pair of proper walking boots. As suggested by the sales assistant I did a few short walks in them - before going on a long 12 mile more challenging walk, along the Cumbrian coastal way, this included walking along a very stony beach for a couple of miles, hard road surface, through muddy fields, shallow streams, woodland and some moderate climbing. The boots proved to be waterproof and very comfortable. I was very pleased with them.
The only minor thing, was that I found them to be a bit difficult to clean around the lace area. But to be fair as a relative novice, boot cleaning is a new experience for me. So maybe I was not doing it correctly. Although I was given exceellent advice by the sales assistant on how to clean the boots and I did buy and use the recommended cleaner/ waterproof products.
