Anatomically sculpted as part of their Natural Shape range, the two-to-three season Asolo Mens Creek GTX Boot uses minimalist construction for maximum comfort.

A development on from the increasingly popular 'barefoot shoe' idea, the Natural Shape concept represents form-fitting, flexible footwear which allows your feet to feel free: to feel as close as possible to not wearing boots at all, while still adding grip, protection, and a degree of support.

The foundation of the impressively lightweight Creek GTX is a lugged Vibram sole which mimics the shape of the foot, curved and contoured to allow a natural, unencumbered rolling motion as you walk, but still providing excellent grip. This sole is refined, through the use of carefully tuned shock absorbing and supportive elements, to ensure that while you feel connected to the terrain, you are also protected from it.

This careful balance of lightweight, minimalist construction and dependable protection continues into the rest of the boot, with Gore-Tex lined suede and fabric uppers formed into a shape which allows a fluid, comfortable fit.

Amazingly comfy and lightweight.
Reviewed By Jamie, 07 Mar 2014

You'll be very hard pushed to find a lighter and comfier boot than these, like slippers straight out the box. Huge fan of Asolo and these haven't disappointed. Anyone with gore-tex experience should know that it doesn't keep your boots dry for very long, especially once your off the track and going through bog etc so I wouldn't fault Asolo for that, not many boots come without a gore-tex lining these days!

Very comfortable boot!
Reviewed By Peter, 12 Aug 2013

Going to use this boot for the GR20 in Corsica. Have had a little walk with these and so far they feel good. They have a tight hold of your feet and are more flexible than other boots so you feel more connected to the ground conditions. The negative is with the flexibility you loose a lot of the ankle support.

A bit disapointing
Reviewed By Toby, 07 Aug 2013

I have owned this boot now for six months and am a bit disappointed with it's waterproofing abilities. I know it is advertised as Water resistant uppers and Gore Tex lining but I have been caught a few times in showers (only use these boots for cycling) and on every occasion my feet get quite wet. I also found that they were pretty tough to break in on one of the feet. Not sure why this is as I have had other boots before with no issues (Scarpa - v good)

I also find the soles quite slippy in the wet too, not great I would imagine if out scrambling etc.

I originally purchased these for a couple of reasons, 1: light weight 2: waterproofing. Overall they look pretty good and indeed are light. After finally breaking them in they seem pretty comfortable and so far have held together just fine ( I use them every day). Not sure I would but another pair though.

Fantastic lightweight boot

Bought these specially to undertake a nonstop 24 hour charity walk around the Leeds Country Way . Light weight , supportive and after nearly 60 miles feet were not sore at all and mine were size 12. Great Product . Well done Scarpa , I converted

Great Fit but .....
Reviewed By , 02 Apr 2013

Quite a different approach to a boot, great fit, lightweight and when paired with gaiters performed well in snow and mud.
BUT ... the left boot leaked on their 1st real test (< 40 miles on the clock), around the base of the tongue.
Happily replaced by the local store, but not a great start Asolo.

Love them

Light, flexible and comfortable. The 'natural'sole feels a little odd at first, but quick and easy to get used to and does feel 'natural

Very light and extremely comfortable

The fact that Cotswolds measure your feet ensures any boots they recommend should do the job. In this instance Asolo proved just be right for me
