packable, nice medium brim width, more stylish than a bucket hat, less yeeha than a cowboy / akubra style, half the price of a Tilley, could prob be wax treated if needed, i wore regularly in Philippines for a month long trip & it was great in the hot dry climate so will be taking on next trip to Australia too, functional enough for a long trek and smart enough for a 5* hotel
mid priced hat with few features, would have liked mesh in the vent holes to make it more midge proof for uk use, packable but doesn't look as smart after being squashed regulary, scored 8 for warmth as it did it's job and kept my head COOL in hot sun - it's not suited to cold wet climates!

The hat looks classy, is well made and feels good to wear. I can see it becoming my firm favorite.
One thing (not a "don't like" thing) - the XL sizing is a fraction too loose in windy conditions (of which we have had too much!)
I added another strip of material inside the inner hatband and this gave it extra grip without any discomfort.
