A great winter all-rounder, the Harrison 3-in-1 Jacket from Ayacucho lets you choose warmth, weather protection or both, depending on the demands of the climate.

The diamond-textured face of the waterproof and breathable outer lends it a sophistication which blends with the simple styling to produce a garment you can wear pretty much anywhere. The hood stows neatly into the collar when not needed, maintaining the uncluttered look.

Inside, you'll find a warm fleece lining which zips out when you need a lighter waterproof jacket, or when you need  a fleece to wear on its own.

The Harrison takes the versatility of the 3 in 1 jacket, and ramps it up with addition of wearable style.

Can't go wrong at this price.

I bought this jacket for a recent trip to Russia where as you would imagine the weather is pretty extreme at this time of year. The temperature never got above zero and there were snow showers on and off the whole time however this jacket performed admirably, keeping me both warm and dry; it works well when layered with a t-shirt and thin fleece. There are substantially more expensive jackets on the market but this ticked all of the boxes for me, why pay more when you really don't need to!

Affordable all round jacket
Reviewed By Robert, 28 Dec 2013

When I bought it, I thought that you cannot get a good quality for that price. However, I had tiny budget and desperate need to go exploring Cairngorms in Scotland. Hence, I had little choice. I have already climbed Lochnagar in it. It was dry in the morning so I just wore a fleece. Later on in the afternoon, I had to face heavy shower two hours long. I remained dry and there was no moisture accumulation when I put on the outer shell. The only disadvantage is the design. Ayacucho needs to work a bit harder on it. It definitely falls short to Berghaus or Lowe Alpine. This is, however, only noticed when you have a very fashion conscious wife!
