Offering carrying comfort with a well ventilated back-system and ergonomically shaped harness, the Mojave 28 is a perfect daysack for hill and mountain walking.

Each of the Mojave's compartments is equipped with an inner pouch to better organise your kit, the one in the main body of the bag being large enough for a hydration bladder. A zipped inner mesh pocket keeps your essentials easily to hand while a soft, brushed-lined pocket at the top contains a rain cover and protects your phone or MP3 player, and mesh side pockets comfortably accommodate water bottles. Ayacucho's Air-Tex back system uses pre-curved aluminium rails to hold the bag away from your back, allowing cool air to circulate next to your body however hard you're working!

If you haven't filled the bag, side compression straps cinch it tightly to keep everything neat; a loop and bungee walking pole carrier completes this great all-round daysack from Ayacucho.

Many pockets. Quality material. Sturdy zips!
None really. Overall this is very good value for money when looking for a daysack.

Buitl-in rain cover. Sensible sub-division of different compartments.
Only one pole tie-on point (although there are two lower loops, both on the same side). However, the tie-on point that is provided is not really long enough to take two poles.
The clamp that grips cord around the perimiter of the rain cover keeping it securely in place slips and the cover can become displaced. I have replaced my cord with elasticated cord - the clamp is secure and, because of the stretch, the cover is easier to fit, particularly in wind.
