Brilliantly versatile, the Ayacucho Women's Dunya Zip-Off Trousers are a great blend of relaxed styling and technical construction.

If you're living out of a bag on an extended trip - or if you're out in the hills in the UK where the weather can have a mind of its own - then it can pay to have clothing which does more than one job! The Dunya Zip-Offs behave either as trousers or shorts, and are made in a light, packable, breathable fabric which looks and feels like soft cotton but which dries four times faster. Brilliant.

Well-fitting and very comfortable
Reviewed By Miranda, 24 Mar 2013

I was looking for a pair of versatile travelling trousers that I could wear walking across Europe, on safari in Africa and backpacking across Asia. I think these trousers are ideal - they are made from a really nice fabric that feels breathable and natural against your skin and still promises to dry quickly (unlike many trousers that feel very synthetic). They are also a sympathetic cut with bit of elasticated panelling in the back of the waistband to allow a bit of room to move. They have plenty of pockets and the zip-off legs create a nice, longer short that makes them suitable for wearing in more conservative countries. My only slight quibble was that the zips on the legs don't seem super-robust, but having tried many other trousers on these were the ones I kept coming back to for comfort and fit so I'll live with the zips. I also like the fact that by purchasing this product I am supporting local communities in Peru.
