In my opinion the bear survivor trousers beat all other trousers hands down. They can handle anything and everything that's thrown at them, the built in knee pads are great and keep bumps and grazes to a minimum, dry extremely quickly even after being completely submerged in a river. I use these for everything including work and they haven't ripped yet, so extremely tough. I recommend to everyone looking for a great hiking or work trouser. One of the best purchases I've ever made.

Excellent pants

Excellent pants, i have them in all 3 colours. Craghoppers also give a lifetime guarantee with these pants. They are very light and quick drying. Definitely order one size bigger round the waist and one size shorter length in these pants though as they are a different fit to the Kiwi and Basecamp pants.

disappointing product

The fabric is pretty uncomfortable to wear for any period of time where you are moving, the knee panels add extra weight without actually providing any real benefit to an already fairly heavy garment. I have personally had quality issues with the stitching coming loose, the pockets aren't wide enough for those with large hands either as the zips scrape me whenever i put my hand in. After a month of having them i retired them and upgraded to rab VR guide pants. If you are going to spend this amount on a trouser I would suggest that there are better options on the market.
