Product Information

The design of these innovative gaiters completely protects your boots and lower legs up to the knee. They fasten via a front zip, with a hook and loop fastening storm flap, and the protective rubber rand is replaceable.

Yeti Fitting Instructions

    - Establish your left and right gaiter
    - Pull toe of boot through the largest gap, from inside to outside of gaiter
    - Pull heel of gaiter onto and fully around heel of boot
    - This next bit is the hardest bit and may take a lot of stretching/pulling, pull toe area of gaiter over toe area of boot, you may need to put heel of boot on floor and pull gaiter upwards and over boot toe (it will fit on eventually, these gaiters are supposed to be super tight so no water gets thro)
    - Finally, adjust rubber accordingly so it is evenly around the sole.

Liverpool Expert
I have used Yeti gaiters for over 20 years and normally would swear by them for anybody who goes off the beaten track. They are a must for boggy fields, crossing small streams and the like. I first used them as a soldier and they have never let me down. Fitting them is fairly straight forward, like most things it is just a case of getting the technique right. Fit the heel and midsole parts of the gaiter first and then place the heel of the boot on the floor so that the toe is facing the ceiling. Then put your toes into the boot where you heel normally goes and tuck your fingers under the front rand of the gaiter, this should now be somewhere around the bottom of the laces in your boot. Rather than pulling with your arms simply straighten your back and stand up. The gaiter will stretch enough for you to get it level with the toe of the boot. Pull it forward over the toe of your boot and let it snap down into place. Be careful on this bit it as it is possible to pinch your skin or lose the end of a nail. Once it is on I tend to use some cobblers cork and rubber glue to stop the gaiter from riding up off the toe. Avoiding using super glue as it will corrode the rubber on the gaiter within a matter of a week. If they have been fitted correctly then you only get wet feet if water comes over the top of the gaiter or you have been stood in a small river for a daft amount of time. Then just enjoy having dry feet.
Pretty awkward to fit unless you know the technique which I have explained in the good points.

Looks great but as yet, impossible to fit! Lots of stuff online about hot water/washing-up liquid etc but as boots they need to fit are being re-soled haven't tried yet
