- Easy to light, efficient, and powerful cooker capable of long term use and able to cater for small groups of people. Works particularly well in conjunction with the Biolite kettle, but also performs well with conventional pots and pans, even a large steel frying pan! I have not used the USB power supply for charging, but in future intend to use it to power the Biolite LED light.
- Due to its robust nature, the cooker is not particularly light, especially when combined with the kettle. The only other drawback to bear in mind is the need to source sufficient dry fuel. The UK climate is not always conducive to providing good conditions for foraging for dry wood! Carrying with you a small supply of high quality tinder-dry wood is a good precaution to assist combustion of any less than perfectly dry material which can be collected on your travels.
