Hollywood / Birmingham Enthusiast
Used on a recent winter ascent of mount Kazbek in Georgia....

- Unfortunately the stitching on the inner gloves split and when worn by themselves around camp my hands became cold. The lobster style glove was excellent - but just not man enough for a >5000metre mountain. If the weather was extremely severe their was a risk to my hands - for this reason the I lost confidence in this "Rolls Royce" altitude glove recommended by Cotswold staff.
- The outer gloves were excellent - however as a system they failed and were definitely unfit for purpose.
- I returned them and will look at purchasing a set of OR Altitude Gloves - unfortunately not sold by Cotswold.... 2 members on my team wore these glove systems and they raved about them...
