This is the second pair of Black Diamond poles I have bought. They are an improvement on the first pair: they have three sections (as opposed to two) making them shorter to carry and store when not in use, the flick locks are easy to open and close, they seem very sturdy and the wrist straps and grips are comfortable.
Nothing after one day's use in the Lakes.

The click locking mechanism is much easier to use than the twist locking system that I had on my old poles. They were much more reasonably priced than many poles. Build quality seems tough enough so far.
None so far.
