Took these as an ice climbing backup/walk in glove on a trip to Norway in February. Definietly outperformed both soft and hard shell gloves I had at 3x the price. warm, relatively dexterous, and makes getting wet a non-issue.

Excellent must have!

Bought these mittens for a winter trip to The Lakes, i wnet for mitts because even in gloves my hands get cold. what a great choice. We got very wet on the approach lowlands but they kept my hands warm and dry. On the peaks in freezing bitter conditions they were superb, totally wind proof, no need for a liner glove. Very tough shell and not a mark on them despite lots of scrambling.

An outstanding pair of gloves for all cold weather activities. I wouldn't go anywhere without these as they instantly warm your hands in all conditions
