Not worth the hassle
Reviewed By Joshua, 07 Feb 2015

At first this seemed like a really useful bottle. After having it for about 4 months I've come to realise that it's far more trouble than its worth. If you're storing anything other than water in this bottle (juice/squash/cordial), it will have to be cleaned at least every 2 days. Cleaning is also time consuming, as there are lots of difficult to access nooks within the lid/spout. Water wont leak from the screwcap, but will drip if the screw thread is wet when closing. Also, if the temperature of the liquid warms through the day, it will leak out of the mouthpiece as it expands, particularly if it's been regularly used. All in all, just use an old water bottle or a simple screw-off container, it will save you a lot of effort in the long run.

Not long lasting
Reviewed By Paul, 11 Nov 2014

The bite valve is not durable at all and as in a previous comment he blaimed the water rising through the valve on the altitude which is not the case. I am now on my 3rd and with all 3 the water rises up through the valve and spills everywhere on all 3. I have now got a chute and it is much better. 'So spills all thrills' Sorry :)

Love it!

This is great for staying hydrated at work. The bottle is attractive and doesn't impart a taste to the water.
I bought two and one had a faulty valve (no hole!) but it was exchanged the same day with no fuss.

The whole thing can be disassembled and cleaned in the dishwasher which is definitely a plus.

A fab water bottle for the whole family!

Encourages out little lady to drink more water. Very durable and highly recommended :)

Good bottle but can be hard to sip
Reviewed By M, 09 Aug 2013

I bought this to replace a flip-top nalgene bottle, as quality bottles are hard to find nowadays. So far so good, but don't buy this if you want to gulp your drink. Sipping is a little hard. Otherwise, a good product.

Practical water bottle
Reviewed By Nina, 04 Aug 2013

I borrowed my son's CamelBak bottle for a recent trip to Peru and found it a very practical bottle for travelling. Only problem was that at altitude water leaked upward through the valve.
Now bought my own and have used it daily for 2 weeks in the Lakes. No problems of mould as mentioned on other reviews. Maybe a soak in baby bottle solution would solve the problem if there is one !

Great non-spill bottle

Brilliant product, great for those walks and for people who may be a bit clumsy like myself, no water wastage if knocked over. 10/10

Wouldn't buy again
Reviewed By Lynne, 25 Apr 2013

Leaks a bit. Have had it for a few months now and black mould has developed on the bite valve. Tried to clean it but it is too awkward and small. It's disgusting and now I can't use it. Really disappointing. Wouldn't buy a bottle like that again

difficult to clean and expensive to maintain
Reviewed By Tim, 25 Mar 2013

I brought 3 of these because the design seemed right in the shop, but in practice they have been a real disappointment.
The problems all come from the bite valve. Firstly it's impossible the plastic mounting for the silicone bite valve. Our bottles were used daily and quickly developed black mold in the plastic part of the valve. It's too small for a cleaning brush and so cannot be easily cleaned.

Secondly, two out of three bite valves have failed after about 6 months. The replacement pack is £11 for 2 straws and 2 bite valves - taking advantage of your customers is not a good idea.

Finally, on the 3rd bottle the plastic hinge on the valve has snapped completely.

So I have three bottles which don't work... not what you'd expect from a premium brand charging a premium price

Great for staying hydrated all day long

Bought this bottle so I had a drinking bottle at work. Very satisfied. It doesn't give the water a plastiky taste like other bottles.
