Fantastic Beginner Climbing Shoe
Reviewed By Jude, 24 Feb 2014

Very Comfortable shoe, at a very affordable price. As I have a foot condition which means my feet are swollen, this shoe was perfect, because it is adjustable and comfortable. Perfect for a wider fit foot, but very adjustable so equally suitable for any foot. Good sole for smearing. A very good shoe, and well worth the money.

Fantastic Beginner Rock Climbing shoe
Reviewed By Matthew, 20 Feb 2014

After some great help from the staff at my local Cotswold's store, and some research online, I settled for the ClimbX Nomad shoe.

It's a fantastic shoe for the beginner rock climber - comfy, fully adjustable (the full length lacing helps tighten the shoe up even as it stretches with time), great grip and most importantly, affordable.

I've been using the shoes for around 4 months now. Indoor climbing up to around 6c and bouldering up to V3/V4. It has coped very well with everything I have tried to do with it, including poorly placed footing as I am only just starting out.

Definitely comes highly recommended - a great value, high quality shoe that will last you until you want something more technical!

Cinderella Finally Finds Her Shoe
Reviewed By Angela, 11 Aug 2013

After trying on a large number of shoes over a number of weeks I came across these. They are a low price but they fit in all the right places, around the toes they are snug without being painfull, the heel also fits well and there is enough flexibility in the mid sole to bend my feet. The laces ensure that I can adjust the shoes to varying conditions without the shoes becoming loose as my feet swell during the day and during cold weather I may wear socks.

A Great Starter Shoe
Reviewed By Daniel, 26 Apr 2013

Quite simply, couldn't be happier!
After an hour sat in a Cotswold store going through as many types of shoe as I could, I finally decided that this one was the one for me - Then I asked for the price; I couldn't believe it was as cheap as it was!

Compared to the others out there it offered me more comfort in the toes, but without compromising the support and still allowed me to get my toe in to a hold.
It's comfortable enough to wear without the need to take it off and works well as a beginner shoe indoors.
I'd say it's the perfect place to start.
