I bought this for cycling, and the sleeves are plenty long enough for use on a cycle. It doesn't keep you hot and you don't get sweat patches, but once you've stopped, you don't feel too cold wearing the shirt either.

It rolls up very small, so is good for light-weight touring. The creases fall out relatively well as you wear it, so although it won't look pristine after you unroll it, it won't look too bad.
After buying my first one, I ordered 2 more a couple of weeks later, as the shirt will be a mainstay of my touring gear.
