Perfect hot weather shirt
Reviewed By Dan, 20 Sep 2014

I've used these shirts for the past 2 summers in Northern Iraq. In the middle of the day you can roll the sleeves down and the collar up for UV protection and unzip the chest pocket for ventilation. As the sun dies down you can stay cool with the rolled up sleeves. The shirt is easily hand washed in the sink and in June July dries in under 20 minutes. I have found that the microfiber material does pill with wear but I didn't buy it as a dress shirt. The material feels cool against the skin too and wicks sweat away quickly. Each shirt is very light and easily pacakable and the creases fall out within a few minutes. All in all a great shirt for hot and arid conditions. Also great for travelling as it has the nice big security pocket for passport, tickets, notes, boarding pass. Perfect kit.

Great shirt
Reviewed By Steven, 24 Jun 2014

This shirt has some great features and is cool, easy to wash on the move and I was bite free. It has pilled after only one expedition (4 days) of carrying a rucksack but this is outweighed by practicality

Excellent outdoor shirt
Reviewed By Andrew, 02 Jul 2013

I have to say that this is my favourite shirt to wear outdoors. It is very comfortable to wear with lots of ventilation when it gets warm yet it is warm enough on chilly evenings.

The shirt has a number of well thought out features, notably the collar that stands up to protect your neck from the sun and a zipped pocket on the chest. The sleeves roll up and can be buttoned up and the buttons in general are chunky and substantial.

The fabric itself is light and very quick drying and I don’t recall getting bitten by any midges/ticks etc on any recent canoe/camping trips. The fabric is supposed to be ripstop however it does pill very easily if you are wearing a backpack/buoyancy aid directly on it so the shirt starts to look a bit tatty after a few wears. Highly recommended.

Fantastic all day travel shirt for expedition and
Reviewed By Alastair, 07 Apr 2013

This shirt is incredibly light, but is stacked full of the features you want to keep the sun from burning, whilst letting the air through to keep you cool. The stand-up collar keeps the sun off the back of your neck far better than a normal collar, while the sleeve tabs mean you can roll the sleeves up and keep them there when the risk of burning reduces.

I use them to keep the sun off and to prevent having to use shed loads of sun screen when I'm taking photographs - sun-screen really isn't good for cameras and lenses. They also keep the midges and mosquitos away far more comfortably than being smothered in repellent.

These are about the lightest shirts you can buy, so take up little of your precious luggage allowance if you go on safari. They also wash and dry in very little time at all, so you can wash them in the hotel sink or shower if you need to, hang them by the loops and have them ready for use next morning.

I have both long and short sleeved versions according to the destination. The best shirt I have ever found for travel in hot climates.

Best trekking shirt by far
Reviewed By Paul, 03 Jul 2012

I have had this shirt for about a year and have used for both trekking in the Beacons to going out with my friends.
I love the zipped pocket, it takes an OS map with ease and much more. The pocket on the sleeve intrigues me - what is it for? All in all a great buy, I will be purchasing another one as soon as.
