Super light-weight screwgates
Reviewed By Andrew, 29 Jun 2014

At 42g, the DMM Phantom is one of the lightest screwgates around. Despite the weight, it maintains high strength through I-beam construction. It is physically quite small, so may be a challenge to operate when wearing gloves, and you'd struggle to coil a large nylon sling on it, but a dyneema sling works fine. This would make an ideal carabiner for cruicial runners, or to use to connect your belay sling to your anchors.
