Product Information

A great entry level rope

This classic high quality Python Rope by Edelrid is a great entry level rope which, like all Edelrid ropes, has been treated with Thermo Shield which is a process which ensures that the core and sheath yarns are perfectly balanced. A special heat treatment cure first relaxes then shrinks the ropes fibres, this harmonizes the yarns inside the rope and ensures that it remains compact and supple throughout its life.

Very durable rope
Nice color
Ease of clipping
Feeds well through belay device
A bit more dynamic than I expected/gives a bit more than I'm used to on a fall (in that case I probably shouldn't fall) - though I wouldn't use this as a reason to not buy the rope.
