An ABS shell and foam liner offer excellent impact protection for climbing, mountaineering, caving, canyoning, via ferrata, canyoning, etc. A great range of easy-to-operate adjustment allows the Elios to fit a wide variety of head shapes, as well as altering to fit you as you move from summer cragging to wearing it over a hat for Scottish winter routes. Also making for great adaptability is the sliding vent system: open it for ventilation, close it up to keep out icy draughts. Absorbent, washable lining fabric ramps up the comfort even further, while four integrated clips retain your headtorch straps during early Alpine starts.

This cross season all-rounder has more EPS foam than other helmets, extended further down the sides and back of the lid for greater protection from side impact. It's still a lightweight option, however, and is easy to adjust when wearing gloves.
