its a good robust design.
Garmin ludicrously over complicate things, and their supporting guidance seems to have been written in serbo translated into japanese and then into into English. But if you can ignore the waffle, and don't need to rely on the support network, this is a handy tool.

Well within the capabilities of a not very computer savy 70 year old once I'd resolved the menu system for setting up. I use it mainly in conjunction with a map & compass for location accuracy and for distance measuring, although it clearly has considerably more functions which some people would find useful.
In common with a great many devices I would have found it useful for the start-up booklet to have to have been a bit more simple, especially for those of us who little knowledge (or interest) in computer jargon.

It's simple. I also have an entrex touch 35 and find it complicated. That is why I wanted the basic one.
Don't seem to be able to get a sound from it I've when you are approaching a geocache.
