Product Information

A lightweight, universal crampon.

The Monta Rosa is designed to meet the classical demands of general mountaineering. The semi-rigid front points and asymmetric fit give it plenty of power, and the plastic cradle means these can be strapped on the go. The New Classic binding system is simple, reliable and easy.

Included in the design are anti-balling plates which help to stop the build up of snow under the boot, which are great for winter walks and general ski tour use when you don't want to spend time shaking off your boots or digging out compacted snow every 5 minutes.

If you wish to return any climbing equipment or helmet that you purchased from our website or by phone for a refund or exchange, you must do so within 14 days of receiving the item. Please read our Returns and Exchanges policy for more information. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Only used once so far but work well in frozen snow & ice.
A bit tricky to get fitting right - had to stop to readjust a couple of times. I would recommend trying out on an easier walk where you can "road test" safely!

Weight, fully adjustable.
Securing excess strap in the cold can be difficult.

Universality of fit
Would be better if they came with the long extender bar as standard.
