Great value and sturdy as a good sunday dinner!
Reviewed By P, 12 Jan 2014

Occasional hillwalker but more of a dog walker. This is a very solid shoe that I bought to improve upon a pair of Timberlands that had large lace holes and leaked in any form of damp weather.

Built like a train and fells a lot more solid than previous Scarpa, Zamberland and Berghaus shoes I had bought. Although not Goretex, so far they are snug and well-constructed enough to make me feel I have the all desired water-proof shoe I need. Like a previous reviewer, they are roomy and my usual 10 became a 9.5 easily. I am now looking at buying a sale Haglofs boot as these things are great for extensive walking.

Well done and a big thank you to Cotswold West End Glasgow and especially Adam for the great service and patience!

nice but narrow?
Reviewed By Brian, 11 Jan 2014

I find these shoes narrow for my feet, which are a little broad and would expect, from past experiences, that I will be unable to wear them in summer without suffering cramp. In other respects they are robust and well made, so I will do my best to get some decent wear on the soles.

Mens Haglofs Crag Shoe
Reviewed By Euan, 29 Dec 2013

My first Haglofs shoe purchase so will be interested to see how these are. After more of an approach shoe this time so seemed like a good choice and good price.
Sizing is fairly generous and a very roomy toe box. Enough so that I actually contemplated a 9.5 instead.
First impression is that it is a very firm and supportive shoe. Enough for me to say it fits more than a shoe than a trainer.
- Probably why they're called an approach 'shoe'...!
Having had Salmon for my last 2 pairs of footwear there is a noticeable difference. Wanted these for a more rigid shoe for some easy climbing and scrambling so these should fit the bill for that with their more rigid sole and reinforced rubber toe.
Nice styling and I like the lacing system. Not a Vibram sole so again the jury is still out on that but all in all impressed with the shoe so far and with the service from Cotswolds.
