Sturdy, light and wearable from the start
Reviewed By Oonagh, 01 Mar 2014

I got these shoes at the sale price. I was looking for waterproof walking shoes suitable for long distances on road and low level walking - think Camino, Appalacian Trail, IML etc. I've a broad foot, soft skin on my feet and always wear a liner and thicker sock and sometimes prep the balls of my feet with Compeed gel if I know I'm going to be covering extra long distances. I'm super fussy about my feet and footwear. I can honestly say these shoes haven't given me any blisters and don't rub at all. I wore them for 12 miles on their first outing with no difficulties. They lace practically the whole length of the shoe which is what I reckon makes the difference. I'd recommend them wholeheartedly especially if you can buy them at the reduced price.

Great shoes at a great price
Reviewed By Delyth, 17 Jan 2014

I bought these mainly for dog walking so I haven't really tested them on any more extreme terrain. However they are nice and lightweight and have excellent support around the heel and instep. So far they are warm and completely waterproof (during plenty of rainy walks and when walking through long wet undergrowth). They are so comfortable I don't want to take them off when I get home. The sale price is extremely reasonable for such a decent shoe.
