Product Information

Trusted by professionals and outdoor enthusiasts for decades, for many people this is THE base layer.

For whatever your chosen adventure - from skiing to climbing, hiking to biking and much more besides - the Lifa Twin Pack provides extremely effective wicking performance to keep you comfortable. This set of close fitting base layers is made from Helly Hansen's legendary Lifa fabric, which cleverly wicks moisture rapidly away from the body without the fibres getting saturated: not only do you stay dry, your base layers stay pretty dry too!

The Lifa Twin Pack contains one long-sleeved crew neck top and one pair of long-johns.

Keeps me warm and does an excellent job of removing sweat; frankly, that's a lot of sweat to remove - my perspiration is prolific and, so, I've found that things like merino don't quite do it for me (think of an overbody sponge and you can easily imagine why).
It's also a nice all rounder, I've been wearing it in fine weather to walk up a couple of very steep hills and have also had it when out on the bike. Not sure I'll be able to wear it as the weather improves but, then, that isn't why I bought it.
Very minor point but, compared to woollen baselayers it will build up a head of scent a little sooner. Nothing terrible, though and not any more than any other synthetic clothing, possibly better than some items I (quite happily) wear.
