Fantastic pair of socks!

These are some very lightweight, breathable but durable socks, I have used mine at least once a week for about a year now and they are still in very good condition.

Using them with the Bridgedale trekkers worn over the top they are a perfect sock combination and I have had no blisters whatsoever and now own 4 pairs of these - a very good pair of socks!

Essential anti-blister sock

These are great to wear inside your thicker socks, and prevent you getting blisters by keeping your feet dry

Excellent pair of socks!

These are some very durable socks, I have used mine at least once a week for about a year now and they are still in very good condition.

Great Liners!

Bought these to use with another pair of Bridgedale socks and they're fab, I've had no problems with blisters when using these socks, they dry quickly and don't smell either.

Awesome socks!

I bought a pair of walking socks and had huge problems with them regarding pain and blisters however with these Bridgedale ones I find no blisters and they're very comfortable! As well as warm, they're cushioned in all the right places and are a brilliant pair of socks overall!

Amazing socks

Excellent socks

These socks have padding in all the right places. I particularly like the 'venting' parts of the sock made from a slightly lighter fabric just in front and behind the bridge of the foot and also on the ankle (the grey shaded bits on the photo). They do a great job of keeping the feet cool. Very good padding but at the same time cool feet, Marvellous!

reliable, durable, lovely pair of socks

My brother who is a pro trecker introduced me to these products and I think it was one of his best ever suggestions. What Bridgedale calls it woolfusion, is a great feature that make them really reliable and comfi. Used to buy cheaper socks which after just even a light walk were in bad shape. The woolfusion gets even better after you wash them as it makes the wool get even better integrated with the fibers. Used the pair in a recent trail, washed twice and so far so good.

Great sock, for on and off road running

I've been using Bridgedale socks for a few years now, and the strength, comfort and support is like no other sock. I recently found the 'Speed Demon Socks' and find them perfect for any distance, on and off road, training or racing. I do a lot of my running on trails and in the mountains and they work well in fell running and trail shoes, keeping your feet warm even when wet - which seems to be most of the time. I have also had no blisters using these or other bridgedale socks.

Comfortable Warm Socks

I recently purchased a pair of Bridgedale Control Fit socks, to replace my current ageing walking socks. When I was in my local Cotswold Store (Guildford), I decided to purchase a pair, mainly because they were on offer at £10 !

I had been recommended Bridgedale sock by my colleague at the Open Award Centre of Kingston, so it seemed a simple decision to make !

However, I didn't read the label ... "A finely knit toe box with a high friction forefoot improves edge feel for more control in ski boots." As I was intending to use these socks for walking, you can see the likely issue with wearing ski socks !

The first time I did wear the socks to walk in, I was unaware of the design implications, and was set for a 25 kilometre walk (with heavy rucksack), I noticed during the walk the intense heat I was feeling in my boots. By the end of the walk I had very sore fronts of my feet ! As promised in the description.

The solution though is to wear a thin pair of normal socks underneath, to create a barrier between the friction pad and the skin ! I tried my new solution on the second day, to great results, I had warm, dry, comfortable feet all day long and that night my feet were in top conditon.
