Not Waterproof. Why?

With the price of maps these days you do need to protect them and keep them useable. This map case is well made, sturdy and has nice features like velcro securing tabs and roll top closure. This said it is not waterproof and leaks through the material at the roll top closure. A closure designed to stop water ingress being made of material that lets water through. Not sure the thinking here. So although a reasonable price, not really fir for purpose for British use in my opinion. Go for the Hydra instead.

Excellent water proof case

This is an excellent map case sutible for all occasions. It keeps the water from the map and is very easy to use.

Great versatile map case

This is a really good map case. While it is not waterproof, it will withstand anything but the heaviest downpour and the roll top closure keeps dirt out of the map. It is very reasonably priced and I particularly liked the fact that the map case can be folded in half and secured by Velcro pads, reducing the size of the map case for easy use and storage. Overall, a really good and well designed map case with some well thought out features.

For a short review then I found these gloves had two main advantages. Flexibility. Build quality. I also noted their breathability. They work by providing a removable weatherproof outer. It is very easy to remove the outer glove. I found a size that fitted my hands correctly. If you lose one on a mountain your hands will still be kept warm.

Ultra compact & quick drying. Great for travels

I've bought a 2nd pair - I like the 1st pair so much. I use them for cycling & walking. Not waterproff, but always in your pockets, as they are really compact. Excellent product! Happy customer.

Great value gloves

These are great liners that are also really good on their own. The material is very comfortable and well fitting. My only (minor) complaint would be that they are slightly loose around the wrists, otherwise at this price they are well worth getting!

Well shaped liner gloves

Unlike too many basic liner gloves the Layeron has a good taper to fit hands that aren't square-cut. Add in the thinness and smoothness of the material and they make for a well above average liner. The only drawback is they could do with more taper toward the wrist.

Quality not as good as it should be for the price

The seems came apart after wearing for driving within days of purchase. The sizing is not good as the size S was more like a size M. The old pair were really good and lasted for 2 years of constant use before wearing through on a finger.

Surprrisingly good performer.

I like these! I like these a lot. They have amazing amount of stretch, always a comfortable fit, and do keep out the wind. Even when I have managed to get them wet the inner fleece keeps my hands warm. The outer face fabric is particularly wear resistant, and I am very happy with the amount of dexterity I have when wearing them. O.D. you have done it again!
