The weekend comes: you might be on your bike or on foot, but you'll be out there, feeling the miles disappear underneath you. Now imagine the kit you're carrying is bouncing around on your back, tugging at your shoulders and throwing you off balance...not so good a picture any more! So, take a look at the Triset: wider around the base, it naturally concentrates the majority of the load lower down to ensure a stable centre of gravity, with a padded hipbelt extending out of the base to smoothly contour around you and hold the load in place. As it tapers towards your shoulders, compression drawcords add virtually no weight to the pack but ensure the load inside is lashed securely to your back, the non-absorbent padding of the VenTex back flanking your spine and providing a cooling ventilation chimney. For extra bits and pieces that demand quick access - energy gels, a bundled up windshirt, navigation kit - you'll find hipbelt pockets, stretch side pockets and a zipped pocket in the single-buckle lid. For the parts of your run, ride ar walk that see you hitting the tarmac, there's an attachment for clipping a safety light, which is repeated on the raincover: the need for visibility doesn't stop when the rain starts!
