Stylish, dynamic and ergonomic; the Helium Friend is designed to be the ultimate Friend and has been superbly re-engineered to achieve this aim. At the head, radically revised new hot forged cam lobes shed weight without loss of strength, create more range per unit and optimize the overlaps between sizes. This cross season all-rounder has more EPS foam than other helmets, extended further down the sides and back of the lid for greater protection from side impact. It's still a lightweight option, however, and is easy to adjust when wearing gloves.

great protective helmet

the helmet is a great comfortable helmet with clips for attaching a head lamp to it. easy to fit and good prise i would consider buying it.

Excellent pro.

Each one of these covers a range of sizes due to the different orientations they can be placed in. They're excellent alternatives to the more limited standard big nuts.

Top Chalk Ball

A cheap, tidy way of using chalk.

I often find chalk balls are better when using a chalk bag and not a bucket - A lot more tidy than powder if you fall off!

Great Set

Not a lot of grip when using smaller indoor ropes but still a decent belay. The set is good with a very light karibiner.

Good looking, hard working device

This VC Pro comes couple with the Synergy Lite Screw Gate, these work fantastically together. You might find the device is better for the more experienced climbing to operate when using thicker ropes such as 11mm. This is because the device becomes very grippy... Over all though this is a lovely device to use. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Light and tiny

A great little screwgate that really does feel like air in your hands compared to a lot of the weighty gates out there. It's great to have on your harness to help out with anchors but it's size means that it won't easily accept more than a single clove hitch - if you're looking for a good centre screwgate for that purpose then this isn't it. For everything else though it's grand - I use mine for a cows tail and it does the job perfectly.

Recommended.

A priceless addition to your rack.

These 4m slings are great for fixing belays and can be thrown around huge boulders. They're so much lighter and smaller to pack than standard slings. Superb.

Great for beginners

These were my first set of nuts and they have never let me down. Give or take there just as good as other nuts, and for the money your saving it doesn't matter that there not colourful they do the job.

very good first set of nuts !

bought these a long time ago from the Harrogate store and have had loads of use out of them ! they take a battering and seem to fit into all kind of placements, the wires haven't frayed and the only damage is scratches. i would recommend these to anyone one starting out as they are a solid investment! the only downside is that wild country don't do the larger sizes in silver but that's just me being petty !

very comfty

Went to the new Bridgemere shop last week to buy my first harness and brought this on their expert advice. Found this product very easy to put on and adjust, the zip lock feature is very fast to use and no doubling back. Used it for the first time last week at an indoor wall and it was very comfy. The elite has plenty of features and loads of room for gear.

great harness for all!

this has to be the best harness i have ever tried, it is highly adjustable, which i like because i can change layers and it is so fast and easy to put on. also the padding gives it lots and i mean lots of comfort perfect for the sport climber. 5 gear loops mean that you always have enough room for gear(well i do anyway). also there is 2 really good features i love, the haul loop, this means i can anchor myself at the back of the harness instead of the front (saves tangles) this is exactly what ive been wanting for years. aslo the other thing is the accessory loop at the back for extra room(i put my chalk bag on this with a carabiner ) and the wear loops which are a great feature that stops the dilemma of when do i get a new harness. all in all great all round harness from wild country as expected
