This waterproof Salomon shoe features a GORE-TEX® lining to help keep your feet dry and comfortable on wet terrain and an extremely robust, contragrip sole for friction and stability. The insole is easily removed for cleaning and provides the option to replace it with an orthopedic footbed if necessary. Extra padding around the ankle means that your feet will feel snug and secure, whilst the breathable mesh is great for regulating heat. Hints of bright purple and taupe produce an all-round great looking Salomon approach shoe, ideal for walking and trekking. Please note: The sizing is smaller than average on the Exode Low GTX so you may need 1 size larger than your normal shoe size.

Excellent light weight walking shoe

I bought these a few weeks ago and hve not had them off my feet. they are light flexible and easy to wear. I have walked in all weathers and come home with comfortable warm, dry feet. Good value for money

Comfort as always from Salomon

Bought these for a future trip that requires a waterproof, lightweight shoe. As always Salomons fit from day one and need no breaking in, produce no blisters and feel like an old comfortable shoe from the first wearing.
Had to size up with these on the advice of the shope assistant as they do seem to be at least 1/2 - 1 size smaller than the size marked on the shoe.
Great bargain for a comfortable pair of shoes.

Really good shoes at an excellent price.

Lightweight shoes that are very comfortable and waterproof. Inner sole removes for periodic washing. Good grip on soles. I am very pleased with these.

Comfortable walking shoe

This is the first walking shoe I've been able to use on the hills in comfort right away - previously I've had to "wear in" shoes quite slowly to avoid painful blisters. The contagrip sole seems excellent on all terrain without any slipping so far. It's also an attractive casual shoe for wearing anywhere and even looks neat in a size 8!

Comfy shoe although one big problem

These were my second pair of hedgehogs, my first pair i wore everyday for a few years, both whilst travelling and at work, until they fell apart. They were fantastic. This pair however, although very comfy, were not anywhere near as well made. The sole started coming away from the shoe from a early age, this also was the case for my partners pair of hedgehogs too. They were used mainly in a hot dry climate so it wasn't as if they rotted from constant wear in water.

Overall I expected more from these shoes. Very comfy and probably great if only doing light walking and town use.

Pure luxury for the feet

First time I've tried the Hedgehog and I'm now a convert. Superb fit and comfortable, easy to walk in and the added bonus of being easily adaptable as an everyday casual shoe.
Value for money, would buy again.

Brilliant

Amazing piece of kit I am on my second pair and I wear them every day. Comfortable from the first time I put them on, the best thing about them is you never get wet feet. I will buy another pair and would recommend them to anyone.

Fabulous shoe, would buy again and again...

This is my third pair of Hedgehogs. I live in them. Vibram sole gives excellent grip and the gore-tex has never let me down, I always have dry feet. I'd recommend them to anyone.

performance all rounders

These sandals not only look the part but are extremely comfortable to walk in too, they grip all surfaces wet or dry and can easily jog a few too as I did the soft foot bed gives comfort for the foot with its soft touch. I leave the support strap on as its removable but feels good off too. I like the support for rocky terrain I love these merely looked great with my linen trousers too. 10 out of 10 from me.

Walking on Air

Pain free walking all day has been the result of wearing these Hedgehog GTX's purchased after highly trained staff member recommended them on fitting. I can't praise the staff or the shoes too hightly. I've since bought another pair. Anyone wishing for total comfort should try these sturdy, light shoes. I wore them for a whole month in the Australian outback and recently on a walking holiday in the foothills of the Himalayas. There's no need for additional inners as North Face have thought of everything.
