brilliant starter kit !!

i bought this about 7 months ago and it's still staying strong , the harness is comfy with many gear loops (5), the belay device is the DMM bug which is a cracking piece of kit and fits most size ropes including half ropes. The chalk bag is bog standard but for that price what do you expect .Apart from the chalk bag it's brilliant.

Light and cool, perfect for indoor climbing

This is my first harness, I bought it prior to a charity climbathon so it's first use was to climb a vertical mile, some baptism of fire! It is very comfortable and light. The ventilation holes in the foam stops you getting too hot and sweaty and the leg adjustment is super quick and easy to adjust. Great value for money.

Great female fit

I have the older version of this harness. It gets regular useage and is extremely comfortable, great if like me, you have a typical female hourglass figure. It is sleek & stylish, without too many unnecessary gear loops and buckles all over the place!! The only criticism I have is that the harness is only adjustable on one side. Overall it is well-made, with plenty of padding, which means I can happily spend hours in it with no discomfort.

Great all-round!

After trying on about 4 different harness' in Cotswold i decided on this one because it was the most comfortable. It has loads of gear loops to keep all of your gear, its pretty lightweight and also looks pretty nice too. Like many other harness' the zip-locks are fantastic and make it very quick to put on. I teach climbing sessions so its really useful being able to put it on so quickly, they don't feel as sturdy as double backs, but i'm sure they're safe.

The floating waist is also a great feature but sometimes a little stiff to move around. Overall a great harness!

A harness that does it all

I've used this harness for two years for a variety of climbing. Climbing wall, trad and sport, multi pitch, winter and alpine. Always comfortable, easy to put on and take off. The gear loops are well positioned keeping everything out of the way but easily accessible. A great all round harness, especially good for winter and alpine climbing.

Brilliant harness for all conditions

I've used the Pro version of the Renegade for over a year now in both summer and winter conditions, and absolutely love it. The Pro is the same design but features thread-back buckles instead of zip-lock.

The seven gear loops are laid out brilliantly, and I've yet to struggle for space to put gear on. Similarly I've not had any problems finding it again whilst climbing. The floating waist belt makes centralising the gear simple.

The padding makes the harness very comfortable on long routes, even at hanging belays.

I have no hesitation giving this harness five stars, and would highly recommend it to anyone getting into climbing.

The harness is great as it is very lightweight whilst still being comfortable. Great for indoor climbing and the protective cover on the loop at the front will make sure it doesn't get damaged outside which is a really good feature.

Easy to get into for a disabled person

Being partially disabled I find a lot of harnesses difficult to get into, with bits dropping down as I try to pull other bits up. This harness is very easy to get into, very comfortable in use, and excellent for the uses that I put it to.

good all rounder.

Got this harness for £50 instore, in Liverpool.

Only used for a couple of hours indoors and seemed great. Relatively light weight, but well made.

Gear loop seemed to sit a bit low, but this might just be me.

reasonably priced, good all rounder

Having recently stared climbing, mostly at my local indoor wall, I found the harness great.

After using rented harnesses I thought it about time to buy my own. Got it instore after trying a couple of different ones on, the Jay seemed to be one of the lightest but felt reassuringly solid. taken a few falls in it but nothing major, stood up well, and felt balanced.

All in all a good all-rounder, will not let you down, great for hours of fun indoors.

gear loops are sturdy but flexible and easily accessible.
