fantastic for walking as well

I suffer from Ehlers-Danlos syndrome(EDS) and bought these to have something comfortable to walk in. It is like walking on air, they are so comfortable to wear, I don't need my orthotics and can walk much further than I would otherwise be able to. My 14yr old daughter also wears them!

Very comfortable trail running shoes

I bought these shoes for off road fell running/ trail running and they are as comfortable as slippers. Lightweight, breathable with good grip. The quick lace feature makes light work of getting them on and off. Easy to clean. The only change I would make would be for the womens version to be available in all back also (as are the mens).

Great, comfy, smart, practical, perfect!

Perfect so good in fact that I got carried away and ran 6 miles in them in my first spin out in them!
Great laces which don't come undone in the mud. Hundred times more comfy than my other cross country trainers I have.
They look nice and do the job!

Great muddy track runners!

Super pleased with these babies! Bought them on Saturday morning and went for a cross country run in them on the rainy Saturday afternoon. They were super comfy so much so that I got carried away and ran 5 miles rather than my normal 3! Fit really well and suit muddy tracks as well as bit of road work. Top marks for these and good value! Looking forward to more running with these! Paula watch out!

All Round, Great, Multi activity shoes,

I am on my 3rd pair of Salomon Xa Pro Running shoes and they just keep getting better with each pair i buy! I am a keen runner and needed a pair of shoes that were comfortable on road as well as track and trail. I have found these to be a great fit, very comfortable and light weight with the built in insoles providing good support. I have also found them a god send for the running leg of my local triathlon as with the ingenious lacing system they are super speedy to get on and off! I use mine daily and the older pairs that i have worn out are still in use but delegated to dog walking! I find them a versatile, comfortable and excellent all round pair of running shoes!

My Favourite pair of running shoes ever!

I am currently on my 3rd pair of Salomon XA PRo running shoes and they just keep getting better! I am a keen runner and have found that these shoes offer a great deal of comfort on both track, trail and road, The specially designed insoles offer support whilst out running. I have used these shoes to their advantage in a local triathlon as the unique lacing system offers super speedy lacing saving time and effort! An all round excellent, comfortable and versatile Pair of shoes!!!

The best trainers

Really comfortable and well designed. Light-weight, breathe well, dry quickly, great lacing system which holds the foot well. Its what loads of people were wearing on the jungle ultra-marathon where they really take a battering. And they look great too!

Perfect for novices and pros alike

Having decided to start running, I read a lot about technique including barefoot runners, which led me to buy these shoes. The pace glove is living up to all the hype! I started by walking around town and in the park, and immediately noticed that my feet were being encouraged to work differently, my spinal alignment improved, my abdominal muscles engaged to support the spine, and my breathing capacity increased as a result. Within a month of wearing them gradually to walk more and more, I have started to run, paying attention to technique, as instructed in the merrell website videos. The results are amazing. I am running with ease and hardly any muscle soreness - which was not the case when I tried running with regular trainers! I am a novice runner (although fairly fit and flexible through other types of physical activity), and I don't intend to ever run in regular trainers. And a final observation: anything I do with my barefoot shoes result in feeling more energised at the end. Being on my feet has never been a more rewarding experience!
Caution: do take things slowly when you start wearing them, as your muscles need to adjust gradually, to avoid soreness and injury.

Stylish and extremely comfortable

I bought these for general everyday use in my search for a solution to an easily aggravated knee. Having tried a variety of anti-pronation footwear and insoles, and custom orthotics I was ready for something new. These are terrific! As comfy as slippers and ultra-lightweight, they offer snug support to the arch but allow your foot to work in its own way. Advice to runners is to adjust to these shoes gradually, but within a fortnight of starting to wear them, I put in 8 hours of tramping round the Chelsea Flower Show without any discomfort whatsoever. Next stop, the gym! I might even try jogging in them.....!

A very comfortable shoe.

I bought these from my liverpool based cotswold store over a month ago... I have not had them off my feet granted they are odd looking but very comfortable ... I'm hooked! I Also have to comment on how patient the staff member that served me was and very informative about the shoes. So thank-you to the friendly staff.

Really comfortable runner

Bought these trainers recently as a wear anywhere trainer and I'm really pleased with them. They are incredibly comfortable and look great with jeans - would definitely recommend, even if not using for running! Great price too as bought in the sale for only £60.
