Really does help!

Yes, there are cheaper ones available, but though the ones I have tried, nothing is better. It gives you that added temperature difference, getting the most out of your sleeping bag, even more useful when you have a slightly underspec'd season sleeping bag. It's very comfortable and makes sleeping a lot more comfortable. Also don't forget it's a great protector for your sleeping bag. Wash wise, I have had no problems....(I don't hand wash it) so I wouldn't worry about the maintenance of it either! The only "fault" if I'm scraping the barrel, would be yes I suppose it could be a little cheaper, but looking at its usage and comfort, I have easily had my money's worth out of it

brilliant little bivi

a high quality, well made bit of kit, it packs down really small and stands up to some severe weather.the material seems to work really well and the zip vent is more than adequate.plenty of room inside for a sleeping mat and bag and possibly room for a small pack used as a pillow!
top marks, would recommend to anyone looking for a simple lightweight bivi.
