Well made and extremely durable.

After around 2 months of deciding if I should pay out for this bag, I finally got one and haven't regreted it.

The build of this bag is unbelievable. The reliable zips around the opening is thick and durable and meet in the middle with holes for a small lock.

Inside, there is a small mesh pocket on the 'lid' with a small hook for what I pressume is for keys. Great easy access.

For the extra £10, I chose the Large, as once filled, the compression straps all around compress it to the size of a medium rather easily.

As for the material, I'm led to believe that it is made from PVC which looks and feels very thick while still retaining it's light weight.

Overall, a VERY practical bag which will be around for years to come. Would recommend to anyone.

Best Kit Bags Ever!!

These North Face bags are worth every penny, I have just bought the small one to add to collection that I have, ranging from xl with wheels to the small and each one is exceptionally well made and last forever. Having been in the Royal Marines for 10 years I am still using these bags on a daily basis and one of them has had over 18 years of pretty bad treatment and apart from a couple of small holes (from me dragging it when full) the bag is still in 100% condition with all stitching, handles and fabric undamaged apart through my own neglect. I could not more highly recomend a durable kit bag more than these, will last for years and put up with anything you can throw at it, or how far it can be thrown by RAF bag handlers!

Fantastic piece of kit!

This bag is practically indestructible. Mine has been across the desert in Oman, dumped in bogs on Dartmoor, left on a runway in Dubai, carried around Australia, and it is still going strong. Just wish they did the funky colours when I brought mine (It would make spotting my bag on a luggage carousel a lot easier)! Buy this bag you won't reget it.

the tank of gear transportation

imho,no comparable product, from other manufacturers,comes close to the durability,versatility,and near tank like construction,of these ledgendary duffles.mine have,over the years, been used an abused in military environments and the rigors of worldwide travel, and have always come up smileing.it laughs in the face, of mercyless airport baggage handellers,and is its naturall ellement,strapped to the side,or being stepped on by yaks,on long expeditionsi have sveral of these workhorse duffles, the latest being bought to replace ones "missing in action" :).bought at a gret price ,too boot :).latest ones purchased from cardiff city centre store.special thanks go to anthony and james, for facillitating my various orders, duncan for"communications", and of course to the ever reliable ,friendly, and helpfull catherine and bronwyn,for completeing the sales,and packing my numerous additional order items.ahighly reccomended piece of kit,and a professional, motivated, and enthusiastic group of people :)

Bomb proof

This is the bag you can drop out of a helicopter, then kick down a mountain, ski down, and pick it up at the end, intact. Lockable zips, comfortable carry straps, and can take it anywhere.

FANTASTIC WEEKEND/SMALL EXPED DUFFLE

The North Face Medium Duffle is indestructible! Ideal size for a weekend away or for transporting small amounts of equipment/storing spare items on small expeds. Mine is a frequent air traveller and is as robust as advertised. Great value for money!

Fill it up, grab it and go

Love this bag. Perfect for weekends away with the family and climbing trips with the boys. Decent size with very useful internal mesh pocket. Straps and handles are sturdy and comfortable. Grab handle is great for quick getaways. External loops are great for holding kari's and ropes. Highly recommended.

Great Bag and very durable

The north face duffle bag has improved its shoulder straps compared to my last duffle bag with improved padding. compression straps around the sides are a great help. These bags are incredibly durable. The only small issue is the string on the zips needs to be improved (could be longer and tougher).

Perfect rucksack...

I recommend this to ANYONE. I purchased this rucksack recently and was overwhelmed with the comfortability when wearing the Jester, it is spacious inside, has numerous pouches & pockets in the front section as well as 2 mesh pouches on the side, in which i place my drinks. This rucksack takes the pain away from hiking, backpacking, camping etc. Great buy.

great bag!

i recieved this as a prestent for christmas from my sister i opened it and loved it instantly,as usual we went for a walk on the morning of christmas,so i took this bag with me it was very comfortable and has lots of great features such as the h2o drinking bladder hole to get the hose through 3 compartments front(single),middle(11 extra pockets inside),back(1 extra pocket fot drinking bladder)the elastic is usefull on the front for keeping things at hand without rummaging through the bag to find it(eg. tops). the bag is not to heavy,large space(27 or 28L i think)i have used this bag in the rain many times and it is very waterproof.it also has waist straps,chest straps(with a space saver wistle on the clip(loud!)).

Loads of space for a day pack

I bought this to use as a daily pack, at (30L)it hold as much as you much as you would want to carry on a daily basis. It has an internal pocket for a hydration port or laptop (fits my 14 inch laptop. I can fit all my gym gear (including trainers) as well as my heavy books for night school after work. The front compartment is roomy and has plenty of pockets for your mobile pens, MP3 player etc, On trips away its the perfect carry on piece. The final pocket on the outside (front) of the pack is deep and great for passports/tickets with quick easy access. Above all its very waterproof and keeps your stuff dry.

Boom proof!!

This is a legendary bit of kit and worth of every bit of praise! I have had mines now for 5 years or so and in that time it has possibly seen every continent (not always with me). It has been used and abused and is still going strong. If you are serious about travelling this is one bit of kit you can’t be without!

A bag for everywhere!

I bought this duffle about 2 years ago and it does exactly what it says on the tin! The amount you can fit into always surprises me! I've managed to fit my tent, thermal rest, boots, clothes, pillow, stove and there is still a bit more space!

2 years on I've used this duffle for 5 day base camp usage on expeditions to simply visiting friend across the country...the best part...it still looks new despite high amount of use.

It even works as a good storage bag for everything else under my bed on a daily basis :-p

Must have, worth every pen.
