Brilliant

I found it realy useful to take on my DofE. On my Bronze practice I had 2 1L disposable bottles and they split halfway through my second day. This works well. Keeps your drink nice and cold. I now take a 2L bladder that fits in my bag and one of these to mix up some lucazade powder and water. I'm on my Gold and have had the same since Bronze. It had one dent in and thats because it fell out my bag and bounced down a hill.

Excellent water bottle

Good points:

- Tough, doesn't dent at all easily.
- Keeps liquids extremely cool for long periord of time.
- No nasty plastic taste.

Bad points:
- Haven't found any yet!

Really happy with buying a couple of these after a recommendation from a friend. I really wish I'd bought some sooner!

Fantastic, Sturdy and Practical.

I am constantly looking for the best bang for my buck and I have to say that I have struck gold finding this Bottle.

The thick plastic ensures that You will not accidentely break the bottle while it is in Your bag which could potentially fall down a rock face, and if it did, I can guarantee that there will be no spills. The Big bite valve is very robust and doesn't allow any fluid to leave the bottle when not in use.

The build of the bottle is overall is made from high quality BPA free plastic and doesn't have that cheap plastic feel You get with common water bottles.

I would recommend this to anyone as I have found no problems with it so far.

Much better than suggests!

I bought this flask because i thought it was good value for money for what it claimes to do.The flask is much better than i thought it would be, i filled it up with boiling hot coffee and about 9 hours later it was still pipeing hot! I also had some cold water in the fridge about 2.C and filled up the flask with it and about 24 hours later it was still nice and cold.The flask comes with 2 stoppers 1 for hot drinks which is completely sealed and 1 for cold drinks that if you push on it it opens and you can drink straight from it. The lid can also be used as a cup which is good because then you can use it to hold hot drinks to let them go a bit colder.
Overall a very good product 5 stars and works excellently!

Nice size thermal jug

This is an ideal size for one person wanting to carry chunky soups. I bought it today and although I have not used it I have done a thermal test on it. I was concerned that if there was too much thermal loss the contents could become the ideal breeding ground for bacteria. I preheated the jug with hot water and then filled it with hot water. The temperature of the water was 95ºC at that time. I then put it outside in an air temperature at 6ºC at that time. I left it outside for 4 hours and the temperature had dropped to 2ºC. The water temperature had dropped to 50ºC which is lower than I would have liked however the air temperature had been lower than a jug would experience in a rucksack. I will be happy to use it to keep soup or other liquids hot for 3 hours but no longer than that

Great for adventures

I actually brought the 1L version (cant track it down on the site) in a nice bright red colour. Brilliant size for going hiking and easy to drink from. The cap is looped on so will not get lost or fall off. Also possible to loop onto a bag and fits snugly in drinks pocket. Feels very durable so hopefully its going to be able to keep u wi m adventures! The only downside is all the stickers the shop insist on sticking all over it. Very difficult to remove!

Indestructible

Nalgene products are the best. This water bottle holds 1/2 litre and will never ever leak on you. Mine has taken much bashing and has coped with being dropped on all kinds of surfaces over the years and hasn't cracked. Essential bit of kit to help keep you hydrated while walking, camping, kayaking etc etc. The looped on cap means you don't ever have to worry about losing the cap or dropping it onto something dodgy.

Extremely hard-wearing!

These bottles are fantastic. The are a great size, holding just enough water for a day out without be excessively bulky. They are extremely strong and the screw cap seal never leaks no matter how much you knock it about! They look great too, and although it looks quite heavy it is surprisingly light when you pick it up.

I bought a cheaper 'copy' a few years ago but it rusted in a matter of months. I have had this bottle since 2009 and it is still in 'as new' condition. The water never tastes funny even after a day or too. I have used it for keeping a range of different drinks inside and the inside coating seems to cope no matter what.

This bottle is indestructible and i highly recommend it!
