Very decent bag

very nice sized bag, loads of room to store kit and has a useful drybag inside to store damp/wet kit. Has compression straps inside and outside the bag so you can keep all your kit in one place and compress the bag down. The wheels and handles seem to be well constructed. Also comes with two side handles as well as the carry handles on top. Overall a very good bag and I hope to get plenty of use out of it.

Does what it says it does on the tin!

First impressions are very good. I have used it twice so far to haul kit across the UK via the train network and it's very happy to do so with ease.
It's very well constructed with a great set of wheels. The handle locks out in three positions, down, half extended and fully extended. There are two grab handles at either end along with two external compression straps both sides that you use to compress the bag when not full. The outer skin is tough and waterproof. It could have done with extra material at the wheel end to help with wear and tear when standing up though and this is my only slight concern with the bag. The underside has two strong rails to protect the contents and protect when bumping up curbs.
On opening the bag via the large D shaped top flap (great for packing) you are confronted with a large single area for kit. It also has a very handy built in dry bag for packing of wet kit/washing. Also underneath the D shaped top is a large mesh compartment that swallows up my 17" laptop with ease. Two internal compression straps help hold your kit securely. Time will tell, but I look forward to many years of easily hauling gear with this bag and consider it a great purchase.

All the space I need

Bought this roller kit bag for the next trekking holiday and its size is perfect. Guy in the shop showed me how to use the compression straps on the side to bring the overall size down so it will get more frequent use than I originally thought. Rolls beautifully even when full and will take all the weather it will get . Have looked for so long for something as versititle as this.

Ideal for the more mature traveller!

Kit bags are so much more practical than cases as they weigh less & fold down much smaller. However as one gets older they're not so convenient for humping round. The wheels make it so much easier and this one is a quality kit bag.

Fantastically flexible and well made

This bag is really well made and so flexible. Has the benefits of a rucksack - easy to carry but allows straps to be stowed away and wheels used eg at airports - and avoids need to use oversize queue! As it opens like a case it stores clothes flat - far better than a rucksack would and has lots of pockets sections etc. Not for backpacking but ideal for sticking on your back to get to the station etc. Although max 80 lites can be neatly reduced in size. Osprey guarantee looks great too! (not needed it though!)

Great lightweight and well constructed bag

I bought an up-market bag because i was fed up with getting through a run of the mill suit case every 2 months! This bag is packed full of features. I've had this bag for about 18 Months now and am more than happy with my purchase. My bag rolls about 2 miles a week over rough rural terrain and it has not skipped a beat. On occasion the screws in the handle must have vibrated a bit loose and required tightening but apart from that PERFECT! The shoulder straps work well when you need to carry your bag. Theres a lot of pockets, pouches and cubby holes on this bag. ITS GREAT! I can highly recommend this bag, with a lifetime guarantee from Osprey, what more do you want?

Pretty good piece of travel luggage

I use this for shorthaul air travel when I'm away for a couple of days. I can get most things I need into this including my laptop which goes into a well protected internal pocket and its small enough for hand luggage. The only minor negative is that there aren;t any external pockets which you maight get on a daysack for a drinks bottle but aprt from that it does the job

Great Travel Companion

Picked this up as i travel with work a lot and this was to replace my long time suffering 'week-long' bag.
It practically swallows up anything i try and fill it with everything i need to take, it holds the contents very securely with the internal and external compression straps, the outside pockets I only use for kit i need quick access to such as paperwork / headphone storage / phone chargers but there is loads of room for more.
im most impressed with the wheels, although I haven't clocked up that many miles so far, the wheels are well protected and not too noisy, for going up stairs I really get spoilt with which handle to grab!
I was between this model and the 26" or a dakine but for the size gained against the cost it really was a no brainer for me.

Good but not tough enough for some baggage handler

Good large bag with sturdy construction, wheels and handles which is great for keeping all the kit you'll need for a month of travels.

You need to be organised to make best use of teh main large compartment (to save a lot of continued routing around!) and on one of its first voyages the outer farbic on one of the front pockets got torn where somethng stuffed in it was pushing against it and the bag fell fowl of the baggage handlers tender touch.

Excellent quality travel lugagge

At first sight this might seem a quite an expensive bag, when compared the capacity with other brands in this category, however couse of the excellent material and quality, I would say it worth it. This bag really lasts. The handle and wheels are really durable. Really easy to carry even if you walk with it in city centers. The fixing stripes in the middle I think is very practial to have everything in place even when you pick up ur luggage after a long flight. The drawback is the 4.6kg weight you need to keep in mind when packing.

A great travel bag

This is an excellent piece of kit which is well laid out and well built. The main bag can take up to a week’s worth of clothing with a little thought. I took mine away for 7 days in the USA and was perfect. The Rucksack can be attached or can slide over the handle for taking through the airport and onto the plane. The wheels are very smooth and the handle is a good length which takes the rucksack and a coat on top. I have yet to turn the whole bag into a rucksack but having played with it is quick and reasonably comfortable. A good bag which I would thoroughly recommend.
