The Sirocco: a warm, intense wind blowing from the desert. The Haglöfs Sirocco: an extremely breathable, totally windproof jacket. The Gore WindStopper Active Shell fabric is engineered for maximum breathability and total windproofing, so in warmer conditions or when you're working hard, the Sirocco stays comfortable inside but protects from the outside, offering excellent water repellency too. The light mesh lining prevents the inside from feeling clammy but, being stitched in rather than bonded on, it makes the jacket feel more comfortable and offers even less of a barrier to breathability. The excellent, adjustable hood rolls down when not needed and a pair of raised, zipped hand pockets are matched by two large mesh dump pockets on the inside.

The best outdoor trousers.

My first purchase from Haglofs - I couldn't be happier. They are comfortable, kept me dry on a pretty wet day on Dartmoor, dried easily and were windproof. They fit perfectly and I am finding it hard not to order more. One pair just isn't enough!

The Perfect Light Weight Jacket

I hesitated before buying this jacket, but I went ahead because Haglofs Jackets have never let me down in the past. Looking for spring and summer windstopping and rain protection, I chose this one because of the advanced technology that makes it extremely light in weight. The usual inner mesh lining associated with Hagloffs is only present inside the pockets, the rest of the jacket posesses a new inner memberane that is merged with the gore fabric, so no additional mesh lining is needed. When I first wore the jacket I felt as if I was not wearing an outer layer, as it was so light. Walking in windy Welsh mountain conditions it rained, and this jacket proved perfect with excellent wicking abilities and rain protection. The hood is set into the colar in a very well pitched way, that is really comfortable, and the zips are smooth. I love the colour, and actually I have been wearing this jacket around the town too. People are complimenting me, asking me where it came from. This jaceket is one of the best I have ever purchased.

Outstanding

Used out of the box on the Penwith / Kerrier Ramblers Four Moors walk. 12 miles / 5 hours over rough wet / muddy bridleways & open moor. Feet dry and no blisters / discomfort. All my fellow walkers were amazed.

Fantastic Bag

This is a really well made bag, I was looking for a technical bag I could use on the mountain and while travelling to use as on-board luggage and a day sack. It has loads of room and any number of attachment points to load luggage on the outside . I was unsure about the back fitting system but after my first walk it is really comfortable and the design curves naturally to your back.
At this price it really is value for money and this bag should last a long time.
If your in the market for a quality multi-use backpack this is the one for you.

A great sized rucksack

This is a strong and well-made rucksack. I had problems with my previous rucksack, with the zip bursting open. This bag has four straps that will prevent this happening. It is a fairly comfortable bag to carry, but not perfect, but what bag is. I bought this bag for £55 and I think this is the maximum price I would pay for this bag even though the RRP is £100.
The service from Cotswold Outdoor was fast and efficient. No complaints there.
My only “gripe” was the web site only showed one photo` of the bag. It would have been nice if there was also a photo` of the shoulder and waist straps. But I took a chance and I am very happy with my purchase.
Five stars !

Excellent small rucksack

I bought one of these in Harrogate as it seemed such good value. I had had a similar Berghaus model for 5 years which had just failed only because of a broken zip. I've been using the Haglof now this year and it has proved an excellent investment. The inner pocket with a key holder is always a blessing, and the straps on the outside can reduce the apparent size efficiently.

Enjoyable rucksack

Rucksack is comfortable to wear and convenient to use. It looks fairly smart - I cycle almost everywhere so important. Rucksack's structure doesn't sag, and iIs easier to find things in than most. Elastic useful for holding cycle helmet.

Smart structured daybag

I wanted a daybag which wouldn't look too 'country' when spending lots of time walking cities in Japan, and which would also serve me well once back at home as an ergonomic alternative to the briefcase. This is it - plenty of space for camera and waterproofs etc, but also a laptop sleeve, and enough structure to it that it doesn't 'slump' when half empty despite having no frame. Very happy with it - and the unusual colour is growing on me too!

Excellent rucksack

My old Karrimor rucksack has seen better days and I bought this last March in Grasmere. It does everything I want of it and more besides. All the pockets are well-designed and accessible, and there are straps everywhere for attaching all things. It's comfortable, and the breathing system on the back is excellent. Can't find any faults so far, and at the price, it was unbeatable.

FANTASTIC YEAR ROUND JACKET

My first Haglofs jacket and I can only say: BRILLIANT|. Very comfortable, totally waterproof, ( I live in Scotland|)and a perfect fit (Large). Loads of inside pockets. Only criticism is the sleeves are a bit too long, but the adjustable velcro sorts that out pretty easily. Recommended||
