A combination of comfort with feminine fit, value and performance, the Primrose AL is functional across all disciplines. The Primrose is built with a longer rise, smaller waist and more supportive loops. Contoured for a woman, the bullhorn waistbelt and leg loops are padded and lined for all-day comfort. Adjustable, droppable leg loops allow for extra layers and quick exit/entry. Four molded gear loops and a full strength haul loop provide ample space for large racks.

Bought this as a first harness for my 15 year old son who is just completing the level 1 NICAS award up at out local climbing centre. Their standard harnesses didnt fit very well as he has a small frame and bit in when under strain. This harness, demo'd at the store in Talbot Green felt very comfy and with the help of them team there we left satisfied with the harness. 2 sessions used so far and no complaints.

When i bought this harness i was just getting into climbing so i didn't really know what i was looking for. I found the staff at cotswold extremely helpful and they took time with me to make sure it fitted well. I find it very comfortable and quick to put on. I will definately go back to cotswold to buy my next harness!

Good fit and feel for this level. Enjoyed getting good use out of it for lots of climbs before upgrading. Would recomend it.

This is my first harness and is absolutely ideal. I tried on many others but found thisto be the most comfortable. It is well built and nicely understated in colour. I really like the gear loops that are surrounded with stiff plastic tubing, they really make life easier when you need to get that quickdraw asap! Overall highly reccommended.

I spent a long time in a Cotswold branch over in Hedge End hanging off the ceiling in a variety of fetching harnesses before selecting this one. I'm a student and so was after something cheap, but after my last harness I was unwilling to compromise on two things: comfort, and gear loops. Don't think that safety and style had completely left my thoughts, mind, but I had to keep my priorities straight! In the end it came down to the Momemtum AL or the DMM Renegade, and I settled for the Momentum. It's very comfortable, and I liked the feeling of security given by the old-style double-back buckles over the sliding zip-lock approach of the Renegade. While I loved the 7 gear loops on DMMs offering, I found those on the Momentum functioned well, being easily within reach and designed in such a way that gear was distributed evenly and cleanly around my waist. Four was the minimum number I'd have settled for, and fortunately Black Diamond thought to provide not only these four gear loops but a haul loop on the rear of the harness as well, upon which I now keep a mallion and prusiks in case of emergencies. I'm uncertain as to how BD managed to bring such a quality harness out at such a reasonable price, but I'm very glad they did. It

Was a bit sketchy about it at first mainly because it was the first time I had used Black Diamond...but it was far from disappointing! This harness is both comfy and flexible and extremely well built all for a low price which just adds to how overwhelming this product is. It also poses a rear anchoring loop which can double up as a second tie in point for more interesting abseils. It comes with plenty of gear loops and very well manufactured hip and leg tightening points. I would recommend this harness to anyone who is new to climbing or to any professional who is looking for something a little cheaper but with the same great quality.

Great belay, lots of bite and feels great to use. The friction is superb and even when belaying people much heavier than I, it still works well and I feel very secure. A definite step-up from the regular ATC. The teeth work very well with the two different friction modes.

I got this screwgate just to try out. I have tested it a fair bit over the past few weeks and it has preformed amazingly in every situation, no only belaying! I was very happy and surprised to find out you can still clovehitch onto the bottom without it getting all jammed up, making it very versitile. It also doesn't have an annoying clip like a simular product.

this is the biz i have owened this for nearly a year now and can honestly say that it has been great, very slick on the pay-out but will catch a fall with ease, these things are made to last forever. there is only one down side and thats the slight weight issue, but its only a couple of grams. it has and probably will be the industry standered for a while to come yet. amazing service at the harrogate store.
