The Women's Rough 'N Tumble Pants are warming and protective ski trousers designed to keep you warm in the cold this season whilst also ensuring you look great. Made with a 100% Nylon shell for abrasion resistance, the Rough 'N Tumble Pants have a warming core made with 40g of polyester insulation against a 210T taffeta lining that makes them supremely comfortable, even when worn without a baselayer. The Rough 'N Tumble Pants are made with Columbia's own Omni-Tech fabric technology, a shield that ensures the Rough 'N Tumble are waterproof with fully taped seams, yet also breathable. The Rough 'N Tumble have a contemporary fit that makes them great to look at, as well as to wear, with an adjustable waist, bottom leg zips as well as an internal leg gaiter for a personalised fit. Bottom leg zips make it easier to get ski boots on and off, and internal gaiters hug your legs to keep out snow. They're warmly insulated, but cleverly placed vents prevent you from overheating in the rough and tumble of the slopes.

OMNI-shade - Stay Out Longer
Columbia's Omni-Shade™ apparel line features:
- Ultraviolet Protection Factor (UPF) ratings to maximize fun by minimizing the harmful effects of the sun.
- Columbia's Omni-Shade is the first apparel fabric in the United States to be awarded the Seal of Recommendation by The Skin Cancer Foundation.
More about UPF protection:
- The seal is awarded to UV protection products with a minimum of UPF 30 that meet their specific criteria.
- Omni-Shade clothing is produced from a fabric rated for its level of UV protection. A tight weave structure and fabric types such as textured synthetics and natural fibers, and even color selection, produces sun protective properties.
- Columbia's UPF fabrics are tested using an industry standard test method: AATCC 183. A machine called a spectrophotometer is used to pass ultraviolet light through the fabric sample. The spectrophotometer measures how much UV light passes through the fabric, and calculates the percentage of UV blocked to determine the UPF rating.
Example: UPF 40= 1/40th of the UV rays hitting the fabric penetrates through, or more than 97 percent blockage.
