I've used this harness for two years for a variety of climbing. Climbing wall, trad and sport, multi pitch, winter and alpine. Always comfortable, easy to put on and take off. The gear loops are well positioned keeping everything out of the way but easily accessible. A great all round harness, especially good for winter and alpine climbing.

I've used the Pro version of the Renegade for over a year now in both summer and winter conditions, and absolutely love it. The Pro is the same design but features thread-back buckles instead of zip-lock. The seven gear loops are laid out brilliantly, and I've yet to struggle for space to put gear on. Similarly I've not had any problems finding it again whilst climbing. The floating waist belt makes centralising the gear simple. The padding makes the harness very comfortable on long routes, even at hanging belays. I have no hesitation giving this harness five stars, and would highly recommend it to anyone getting into climbing.

I use these and their competitors, the Wild Country Wild Wires. Both are good draws but the Prowires have a significant edge in weight and I prefer the longer slings on them over those on the Wild Wires. The biners on the Prowires, though, feel smaller on the Prowires (even though they aren't) with the result that I prefer the feel of the Wild Wires when clipping. Much more of a personal preference though, and I'd take the weight loss any day. However, given the choice I would purchase the Prowires. Much lighter, just as strong, and with some extra length (and much longer length options!) that really can help with rope drag on those longer trad routes. Unless you're exclusively climbing sport I'd definitely recommend getting a trad pack of these. Pros: Light, cheap, long sling options. Cons: None really. As with all wiregate draws the lock on the nose can sometimes catch when you're trying to unclip it from gear but this is a universal wiregate issue problem until you get to DMM Shields or Wild Country Heliums. Overall, they're a good buy.

Great sling for creating long quickdraws for outdoor climbing. Practical and versatile as can be doubled up when a shorter quickdraw is needed. Choice of colours is good too to make it easier to locate which one you want from your rack.

I have used a number of belay devices in my many years of climbing and this one is by far the best. The smooth flow of the rope and ample friction makes this device a pleasure to use for novices to professionals. THIS REALLY IS A MUST HAVE PIECE OF KIT!

I was not expecting too much from this device being so moderately priced, but was taken back by just how smooth belaying was. It is lightweight and the loop is plastic coated to stop that annoying clinking noise that comes from the belay hitting the carabiner. Overall, very impressed.

this is one of many belay devices i have owned and this has to be by far the best one it offers you excellent control over your climber as you can feed rope through very smoothly but catch a fall in an instant and one of the best things has to be the smoothness of lowering your partner. i would recommend this to any beginner or experienced climber
