Perfect for all uses, especially in heavy rain

Great tents for every need, whether its DoE or festivals. Very spacious both inside inner and porch. Strong and easy to put up not excessive forcing or pulling. When we used the it rained heavily all night and all my belongings were kept dry and in the morning they dried really quickly meaning we could pack up and get on our way quickly. Slightly heavier than other tents and dont pack as small, but still a great buy. Worth the money.

Solid kettle

This is a great solid kettle which holds loads of water. The handle doesn't get hot and it whistles when boiled (reminds me of my granny's kettle!). This is great for car camping use but would be too heavy for wild camping in my opinion.

cheap light bag

I wanted a cheap light sleeping bag to stuff into my rucksack while walking the camino in September and this was EXACTLY the right one. It was as light as you get, stuffed easily back into it's carry bag, held it's shape, zipped up fully (to the right) and was great for use in hostels. I doubt it would be good for camping in cooler weather here but for what I wanted out of a sleeping bag on this trip it was PERFECT!

Big but not too big - great car camping tent for 2

If, like us, you are looking for a car-camping tent (i.e you are not going to be carrying it too far) with plenty of room to spread out but do not want one of those huge metroplex size tents that dominate some camp sites these days then this could be the tent for you too. We bought it in-store where they kindly erected it for us so we could see exactly what we were buying and how easy it was to put up. Apart from that the shop assistant did not seem to know much about the tent but luckily we had already researched the technical side online. We were a bit worried about how it would perform in the rain as it has a lower hydrostatic head rating than any of our other (backpacking) tents but its first outing involved three days of, at times torrential, rain in North Wales and we stayed warm and dry. The large porch with its built-in ground sheet was fantastic when we came back soaking wet: we could dive in there and not worry about getting the “bedroom” wet. Remember to take an old towel with you so you can mop up the groundsheet as you go along. We had never tried a white tent before and wondered if it might be a bit bright in the mornings but with the grey and gloomy weather we had it was not a problem. A white tent woul
