Very nice looking and does what it says on the tin

I bought these trousers a few weeks ago, and hardly want to take them off when I get back inside. They are extremely comfortable, have endured all heavy rain so far, and definitely wind proof. The wicking material works well as I’ve felt fresh all day on long walks – importantly, they look extremely good. I’m normally wary about walking trousers, because many make me look like a forest troll, but with these I can be proud of my style, on hills as well as city walks. I found them slightly large in the size though, something to be a little careful of if you are in-between two sizes.

A great sized rucksack

This is a strong and well-made rucksack. I had problems with my previous rucksack, with the zip bursting open. This bag has four straps that will prevent this happening. It is a fairly comfortable bag to carry, but not perfect, but what bag is. I bought this bag for £55 and I think this is the maximum price I would pay for this bag even though the RRP is £100. The service from Cotswold Outdoor was fast and efficient. No complaints there. My only “gripe” was the web site only showed one photo` of the bag. It would have been nice if there was also a photo` of the shoulder and waist straps. But I took a chance and I am very happy with my purchase. Five stars !

Cracking.

Having always been a bit of a Wallace rather than a Grommit - I always seem to be getting "The Wrong Trousers". This time, however I believe I have got it just right. The hefty price tag is a bit off-putting but having had them just over 3 weeks I am starting to think they are worth every penny. Loose-fitting, they provide plenty of flexibility of movement, without losing any shape or appearing baggy. The fabric feels reassuringly strong and durable, without the heaviness I usually associate with those qualities. Plenty of storage space for essentials in a sensible number of pockets without the all-too-common style of so many pockets you lose things in them! Strong in the areas where it counts. If it's important to you, they are also stylish enough to be worn off the hills without looking like you are just about to go! I want another pair. That's how good they are.

Very good running pack.

Getting a lumbar pack to fit just right is a very much a matter of personal taste. I found the stretchy velcro on this to make adjustment a breeze and got the fit right pretty much first time. Took it out for a mixed 10k-ish trail run fully loaded. No problems at all, no noticable slippage, bounce or rubbing. The velcro belt is very wide and comfortable. The bottle is basic but effective, my Camelbak Podium will also fit but takes a little more effort to get out and back in as the holder is tapered to fit the supplied one. One point to note is that it is the usual Haglofs althletic fit, I've a 33" waist and there's not much more of the velcro to go!

Excellent supportive comfortable shoe.

I tried these shoes in the shop and was amazed how firm and supportive these approach shoes are. It was not till I got them home that I learned that they have a mouldable foot bed. This makes the fit like a glove from the off. These shoes are much firmer than many approach shoes making them ideal for really rough and rocky terrain in the summer. The shoes also look good with jeans after too. I have worn these mostly round town and so far the soles are lasting extremely well I have been so impressed with these that I am buying a second pair for when these wear out. buy these you won't be disappointed.

Fantastic

I bought these shoes after several weeks of research into the the best approach shoe. I think my choice was the right one. The shoe feels solid underneath and the support is excellent. I would recommend these over most approach shoes as they are functionally excellent and look just as good with a pair of jeans in pub.

Excellent winter season pant

I've been looking for a replacement for my good old Mountain Hardwear rugged, pant till now. I wear them for work as well as hill/mountain activities. My Bracken pair are good for camouflage activities too. Shame I can't find the black in short leg in-stock anywhere though! Best outdoor activity clothing I have bought for years, and I buy plenty ........ !
