This is a revamped classic. The ever returning Helly-stripe-across-the-chest design has seen decades, and this new design will take us into the next. Slimmer, longer and more ski biased moves this jacket from the park and pipe to the whole mountain. The jacket is constructed with Helly WarmCoreTM with 100 g and 60 g insulation. Water-resistant zippers and mechanical ventilation zippers. The hood is zip-away, adjustable and insulated for convenience. The Recon Jacket also offers a zip-off powder skirt. Articulated arms and adjustable cuffs come together with snap-away, adjustable bottom hem. Stylish and warm

Really pleased with this jacket. It has a great fit with no flappy bits to catch the wind. On cold days, it is nice and warm without sweating and on hot days, it feels very light.

Great Jacket, For A Great Price !!

Needed new skiing gear and found this little bargain as I am on a budget. Keeps you warm in the snow and the hood stays on as you ski down the slopes.

Lovely Jacket at a bargain price!

Superb warm and weather proof jacket.

I have been looking for a new jacket for a while and considered north face and all the other brands, but when i saw this jacket i thought it was excellent value for money. It is very warm, keeps the rain and wind out, and has vents under the arms so heat can escape and you stay cool. Can't wait for the really cold weather to come in so i can wear this more!!

What can you expect from HH?Just Perfect!!

First of all i would like to give my many many many thanks to cotswoldoutdoor service. I am from Greece , i gave the order on Sunday 13th March late at night and tomorrow morning on Saturday 19th it was in my hand in perfect condition.The jacket is just great!I bought it for my brother who is almost 1.87m height and his chest is almost 140cm and the xxxl size fits him perfectly.It is highly recommended jacket to everyone.One more time thank you cotswoldoutdoor!

great

easy to put on, warm, lots of useful pockets inside and outside the coat. The one-hand hood adjustment is really good during rain because it is not fiddly and quik to do.

Great Value

Great Baselayer, feels high quality

I bought the twin pack with blue top. Note the blue is deeper blue, much nicer . I usually buy 1 size larger , but this was not required. Used it recently with cold weather , did feel warm and does not restrict movement.

A solid peice of kit

Helly hensons lifa base layers have been around for as long as I can remember and I have used them a lot and I have never been disappointed. I have strayed away from the path a few times and bought other base layers only to be disappointed. They are very light weight and durable and you get a lot of warmth from them like a second skin or a coat of fur for the start. Also you don’t get over heated in them when you really get going. They really last and is probably why henson has been producing this range for so long I.E they really work. This base layer will out live any other you will buy. Also the tops iconic stripes down the arms make you look respectable even if you have spent weeks in the hills away from showers. Now this brings me to the down side if you are away from showers for several days you really do stink with them on,but the up side is rinsing them in a stream is easy and they dry super quick also after a multi day in the wilds you can just shower with them wash them on peal off and they will be dry within an hour. This offer price is fantastic – if you like being outdoors ,super active or not, you can not go wrong with this base layer.

Fantastically Warm

I was looking for a thin but insulative base layer to wear under a drysuit, I was initially drawn to these as they fulfilled both criteria. They are extremely light, often it seems you aren't even wearing them! Despite their apparent lack of thickness they are extremely insulative, I wore the top out in ~10 degrees and didn't feel cold at all. Another bonus is they are extremely quick to dry. All together these are fantastic and I would recommend them to anyone.

Merino at its best

Bought this amazing twin pack, actually 2 packs, for my son, to take to Lapland, for half term. The feel of the product, made my son, not want to take the thermals off, even if they required washing. Fantastic warmth, from a clothing essential to the outdoor cold weather. Keeps you snug continually all day.

Does what it says on the tin!

Bought this twinpack when preparing for a trip to Cairngorms. Handled the exertion of trekking during fairly mild days, comfortable and good wicking properties. Also provided noticable insulation during chilly nights. Stayed reltively fresh for the duration of three day trip. Would buy again.

Great performance for a great price

I purchased these base layers for a recent ski trip. I generally feel the cold and was skeptical about paying that bit extra for a base layer, let me tell you it was well worth the money. Compared to previous ski trips I didn't feel the cold while standing around first thing in the morning and after a hard day on the piste I was completely warm and dry. The Merino wool certainly keeps you warm and dry compared to synthetic layers I have used in the past. the fit is great and not too restrictive and they wash perfectly well and do not shrink. I thought this set was such a good offer I recently purchased another set for my two week ski holiday at the end of this year. Well worth the money! I can not rate this Helly Hansen twin set enough. I

Excellent base layer for very cold climate

I bought my first set just as last year's cold snap started.I was so impressed I now possess four sets. These are marvellous for keeping you warm so you don't have to start piling on the layers. I also liked the higher neck that when zipped up really seals you from the cold. An excellent product from HH.
