The Altitude IV WPi NT Enviro is the beginning of an important and significant journey for Hi-Tec - maintaining the high quality and performance of their footwear, but at the same time taking small but greener steps in the right direction.  Environmentally friendly features include vegetanned full-grain leather on the upper, 50% recycled nylon linings, a recycled metal shank and recycled rubber outsole. best bargain boot

people sometimes seem to knock Hi-Tec boots. however, my experience with this product has always been a positive one. the saying, "you only get what you pay for" has merit, but the Hi-Tec brand has always served me well, with walking boots that last almost as long as those in a far higher price bracket. these Densmore Peak WP boots fit well and are comfortable to wear for long periods, i.e. all day. they look stylish and are easy to clean. these boots will be fab for 3 season wear with little or no breaking in and if properly looked after will last a good few years before being religated into gardening boots. High Five for Hi-Tec

Good sturdy boot. Size 7 is not too big, so a good fit for those with small feet.

Better fitting boot than others 2x the price

Having non standard size/shaped feet and trying many other types of boot these are excellent. With the expert assistance of the Ipswich shop staff and trying various different additions such as heel inserts etc managed to find the perfect fit.

Good value & lightweight

I bought these boots 3 months ago and despite some reservations about them not being a 'famous name' brand, they've proved excellent. Pros: waterproof, very lightweight compared to the rest, good value. Cons: ankle support was a bit stiff to start with but has softened over time.

Excellent for general walking

Purchased to use for general walking, nice and comfortable will be testing them out in the Highlands of Scotland. So far good value for money and are lightweight but with good support.
