Raleigh International is a youth and sustainable development charity. It runs expeditions overseas for people of all ages from a wide range of backgrounds, nationalities and life stages. Raleigh completes worthwhile community and environmental projects which not only have a positive impact in the areas in which we work, but it also increases leadership and employability skills of the volunteers, and raises their awareness of their role as active global citizens. Since Raleigh was established in 1984, it has supported more than 35,000 people through its expeditions in 44 different countries, and currently operates in India, Borneo, Costa Rica and Nicaragua.

Raleigh aims to transform people and empower communities to develop sustainability. By working together, Raleigh volunteers can:
