The Altitude IV WPi NT Enviro is the beginning of an important and significant journey for Hi-Tec - maintaining the high quality and performance of their footwear, but at the same time taking small but greener steps in the right direction.  Environmentally friendly features include vegetanned full-grain leather on the upper, 50% recycled nylon linings, a recycled metal shank and recycled rubber outsole. Cheap considering how comfortable it is!

I knew that if you want a good expedition then you don't want to have sore and blistered feet during the trip, and this is exactly what these shoes prevented from happening. Throughout the whole trip, my feet were very comfortable, no blisters, and it wasn't a huge effort to work. £50 is a good price for these shoes, and hi-tec have done well

Undoubtedly brilliant

COMFORT 5*: These boots kept me comfortable, dry and blister-free for the entirety of my trip up Mt. Killamanjaro and many other enduring ventures too.
STYLE 5*: Also one of the best-looking boots out there in my opinion. (I prefer the full-grain leather over other synthetic materials}
DURABILITY 5*: I got these boots AGES ago, I cannot remember the time they were bought, at least 18-22 months I believe, through many challenges and they are still not showing any sign of deterioration.

These boots are definitely a force to be reckoned with and I highly recommend these to Both novices and veterans.

perfect boot for an boy

from the first fitting my son has loved these boots. for a hard leather boot they are flexible and comfortable. they take the ware of an outdoor loving 8 yr old boy. weather it is long walks, climbing trees or playing in ditches. my son gives them a two thumbs up.

Comfy waterproof boots

Although these say they are boys boots, I am an adult female & they are great on me too! They are a sturdy, robust boot that give plenty of ankle support when walking on rough & uneven ground. Warm & waterproof in the worst that the British winter throws at us, I can recommend these boots as great value for money.

Great recommendation from my daughter!

We bought a pair from Cotswold in Cambridge (very helpful staff) and the killer question to my eleven year old daughter after their first outing was "How are the boots"? Answer: "I'd forgotten I was wearing them". Perfect!

Better fitting boot than others 2x the price

Having non standard size/shaped feet and trying many other types of boot these are excellent. With the expert assistance of the Ipswich shop staff and trying various different additions such as heel inserts etc managed to find the perfect fit.

Good value & lightweight

I bought these boots 3 months ago and despite some reservations about them not being a 'famous name' brand, they've proved excellent. Pros: waterproof, very lightweight compared to the rest, good value. Cons: ankle support was a bit stiff to start with but has softened over time.

Excellent for general walking

Purchased to use for general walking, nice and comfortable will be testing them out in the Highlands of Scotland. So far good value for money and are lightweight but with good support.
