Great jacket for taller women

I love this jacket, I've never owned a Jack Wolfskin before but would consider buying more from the brand.
The jacket is more fitted than a lot of others and so it's really flattering, not to mention a great length - I'm 5ft 11 and have quite long arms so really struggle to find coats that fit well, so tried plenty on this was by far the best.
The hood is spacious and means I can wear my hair in a bun even when I've got it up and adjust it to have the peak at the right level. Snug fit around the neck also helps keep the rain out.
Just tested it in the lashing rain we've just been having and it held up very well. I definately recommend this jacket.

Light weight travelling and casual wear jacket.

A great jacket for the summer months when a light and airy jacket is required but still needs to be water repellent given our climate (UK).

Good points at the base of the jacket as well at the cuffs where the size can be constrained.

Nice soft feel to the material and mine in stone colour makes it good to be worn with most outfits, jeans, trousers etc.

I consider this to be a good value purchase.

Great waterproof jacket

I bought this jacket as a bit of an impulse buy it was raining and I walked into the Leeds store and it was between this one and a NorthFace one. I got this one on sale for £90, and I'm very happy with it so far.

It looks good, I've even got a complement form my co-worker. The inside pocket is very useful for when I carry my Kindle around, but it would be even better if there was an extra inside one for your wallet and phone.

It has great waterproof lining, water just slips off the coat. It's a great one to have in spring/autumn, but it should work in summer too. My only concern is that it might get a bit warm, it could also be a little bit longer.

Excellent jacket excellent price!

Got this jacket as a gift and wore it on scrambles and less strenuous walks great all round jacket and rugged.

Good jacket, lacks storage.

If I hadn't been able to get it on offer then this would have been 3/3.5 stars instead of 4.

Pros:

Very lightweight
Easy to pack
Detachable hood
Certainly showerproof (not had the weather to test any more than that)
OK on wicking thus far

Cons:

I strongly recommend trying out the pockets before buying this jacket. I found the hip pocket zipper pulls to be quite fiddly even without gloves and I'll be replacing them. The main zip is a total contrast and far better. The pockets are quite shallow and the inner one is mesh, baggy and has no seal or closure.

Fantastic value for money

I bought this jacket as a present for my husband. I purchased it for £65 which I think is a great price for the jacket. It's lightweight, comfortable and a very well fitting jacket. Fantastic value for money for a good quality product.

Nice lightweight waterproof

Got this jacket at the sale price of £65, not sure I'd pay the £120 RRP!
The jacket is nice and lightweight, very thin but still windproof. Its good for the warmish days we've been having where there is a risk of rain. Also with its size rolls up to fit in the smallest of bags.

Great jacket whether your going up mountains or heading out on he town

Classy

The picture does not do this justice, as it displays red trim inside when the zip is opened.
Could find nothing that felt comfortable and the right weight for me, until I tried this. Since I bought it, I have worn and worn this jacket. Yes it is expensive, but it does do exactly "what it says on the tin".

Excellent all-rounder - but expensive

This jacket has everything you could want from an all-round technical fleece and I am glad I bought it. It is very stylish and comfortable to wear. It stops the wind and keeps you warm. I have not tested its toughness yet, but the reinforced shoulders and elbows seem capable. It is especially good for walking or hiking and the zip vents do assist when it gets too warm. I often wear this out to walk the dog with just a T-shirt underneath. The only real negative is the cost!
