It may be called a Lightpacker but that doesn't mean it's lightweight in terms of build or features. Building on their long heritage of high-mountain experience and technical innovation, the North Face have created a fantastic hill and mountain all rounder for demanding terrain. Italian design and craftsmanship combine with modern materials to make a waterproof, breathable, lightweight boot offering excellent cushioning and support. The upper is constructed in suede leather and extremely durable Panatex ballistic textile, lined with a Gore-Tex Performance membrane. Underfoot and within the body of the boot, EVA cushioning and a variety of carefully tuned supportive components control the flex and feedback from the ground beneath, with a Vibram Masai outsole providing excellent traction. So, in wet conditions or dry, on hot days or cold, covering hard ground or soft, the Verbera Lightpacker has all you need to stay comfortable, supported and protected.

Excellent boots

There an excellent all round boot, great support, didn't take long to break them in and you can walk for miles in them and not feel it at the end!

Excellent boots

Very very comfortable - I have worn them on a long walk very recently, fully waterproof - I've been through rivers, muddy bogs and they kept me dry, strong soled yet still some flexibility to move in them. Overall great boots, I'm extremely happy with my purchase.

Comfy shoe although one big problem

These were my second pair of hedgehogs, my first pair i wore everyday for a few years, both whilst travelling and at work, until they fell apart. They were fantastic. This pair however, although very comfy, were not anywhere near as well made. The sole started coming away from the shoe from a early age, this also was the case for my partners pair of hedgehogs too. They were used mainly in a hot dry climate so it wasn't as if they rotted from constant wear in water.

Overall I expected more from these shoes. Very comfy and probably great if only doing light walking and town use.

Pure luxury for the feet

First time I've tried the Hedgehog and I'm now a convert. Superb fit and comfortable, easy to walk in and the added bonus of being easily adaptable as an everyday casual shoe.
Value for money, would buy again.

Brilliant

Amazing piece of kit I am on my second pair and I wear them every day. Comfortable from the first time I put them on, the best thing about them is you never get wet feet. I will buy another pair and would recommend them to anyone.

Fabulous shoe, would buy again and again...

This is my third pair of Hedgehogs. I live in them. Vibram sole gives excellent grip and the gore-tex has never let me down, I always have dry feet. I'd recommend them to anyone.

Flip Flops that go miles and miles

I live in flip flops 11 months of the year and these are by a country mile the comfiest and best fitting ones that I have ever had. I have walked 8 miles a day in this and felt no ill effect for doing so. A valuable addition to any outdoor footwear collection
